Since joining Tumblr, I shockingly have gotten my fair share of anon questions from various Tumblr users seeking my advice. In the past I have been flattered by the fact that people value my opinion enough to come to me with their problems, but I've stayed away from offering my advice to people because honestly, I am still trying to figure everything out myself. But recently I have gotten such heartwarming and sincere inquiries that I thought why not? I think it's safe to say I do NOT have all the answers, but if by offering my opinion on a topic, I can help you come to your own conclusion about something, I am happy to help. So I have decided to answer a few in this here post.
I've chosen a select few that are appropriate and anonymous. I'd love to know your thoughts as well.
1. Anonymous asked: "I have a sweet tooth. i love food, i always eat. i'm not overweight, but then again i'm not the skinniest. i really want to lose weight. i joke about how much i love food with all my friends and they all make fun of me as a joke, but it really affects me. What should i do? i'm really self conscious about my weight"
Then limit yourself. No one else can make the decisions for you, but it is important for you to have a strong support system.
Exercise is very important but luckily for you there are many fun ways to work out ( Zumba, Hiking, Etc). And again doing all of these activities with friends really helps.
Also you don't have to ignore your love for food, just start making better choices. Healthier snacks and smaller portions are the way to go.

2. Anonymous asked: "I need help. What can you do if your best friend hates your boyfriend?"
You have most likely done this but, ask your best friend why?
There are two ways to approach this.
1. It shouldn’t really matter why she hates him because she’s not the one dating him
2. She is your best friend for a reason and she no doubt has your best interest in mind.
If it were me, I personally would go with the second. I trust my friends' judgement and I hope she would trust mine if the roles were reversed.
3. Anonymous asked: "How do you get out of your group of friends? Not that i dont like them, i just want to make new friends and not always be with the same people"
I know a number of people who have gone through this.
I think the best way to do this is to start talking to people in your classes you don’t normally talk to, but if that is too awkward or you're not that outgoing, the best place to start is by talking to friends of your friends. You no doubt have something in common.
4. Anonymous asked: "How can I be more social?"
Put yourself out there. This will sound crazy but talk to someone you’ve always wanted to talk to, ask someone to lunch, get to know people. Compliments are the easiest way to make friends. Just give everyone you talk to an honest compliment, trust me it works. :)
